The House
Author's House in Spain
Beautiful Alamedas is an Author's House Spain retreat, conceived as a quiet and unique place to stay, centred around a garden of vegetation and fountains.
Beautiful Alamedas is located in Castronuño, in the province of Valladolid, at an equal distance from Zamora and Salamanca, and close to historic towns such as Toro, Medina del Campo and Tordesillas.
It is part of the Rusticae Club, a carefully curated collection of singular places to stay, each with its own identity.
But Beautiful Alamedas is more than accommodation.
It is a cultural, creative and life project, developed over more than twenty years in a family house dating from the early twentieth century (1920), conceived as a space for beauty, silence, care and conscious living.
The house has been restored in a handcrafted way, respecting its original character and gradually expanding into an intimate and atmospheric retreat where architecture, gardens, water, literature and rest coexist in harmony.
Layout and Spaces
The ground floor contains four bedrooms (three double rooms and one triple room -all with private bathrooms-), a light-use kitchen, a dining area and a large open sitting room that opens directly onto the garden.
The garden, inspired by Andalusian tradition, is one of the central elements of the project: a sequence of patios, stone-paved areas with olive trees, Hispano-Arabic fountains, a small water pool with jets, orange and lemon trees, all leading to a large furnished porch with a sitting area and barbecue.
Access to the attic is through an interior courtyard with vegetation and fountains inspired by Nasrid design.
This open-plan space of 90 m² includes four beds (two double and two single), a full bathroom, a sitting area, a dining space and a second kitchen. It offers a serene and luminous atmosphere, ideal for groups who wish to share time together without giving up space and comfort.
Capacity
Beautiful Alamedas is an ideal house for up to 13 guests, with the possibility of adding two extra beds upon request.
