Orange Room
The Orange Room is located on the ground floor of Beautiful Alamedas, opposite the Blue Room. It is a contained space, defined by warm tones, which accompanies a more inward and silent way of inhabiting, in coherence with the character of the house.
The orange colour introduces a sense of calm warmth and orders the room through light. It is not used as a decorative element, but as a presence that structures the space and modulates its perception throughout the day. The room has two single beds and an en-suite bathroom, with clear proportions that allow for autonomous use, without mediation or added instructions.
The window opens onto Calle Real, maintaining a discreet relationship with the exterior. From here, one perceives the quiet rhythm of the village and the continuity between the house and its immediate surroundings. There are no dominant views or constructed scenes: the room connects to the place through simplicity and a sense of belonging.
Its position, at the beginning of the house and further away from the common areas on the ground floor, reinforces a greater sense of independence within the whole. This location allows the room to be inhabited from a more inward place, where silence and spatial continuity carry particular weight.
Like the rest of the rooms at Beautiful Alamedas, the Orange Room is not conceived as an isolated unit nor as a functional listing. It forms part of a domestic architecture designed as a whole, built and inhabited over time. Each decision responds to a way of being in the house, not to an accumulation of features.
The space is arranged with clarity: light, colour and proportion support everyday use. There are no added promises or services mediating the experience. The room is offered as it is, allowing each guest to establish their own rhythm and relationship with the place.
This Orange Room shares with the rest of Beautiful Alamedas a way of understanding inhabiting based on simplicity, autonomy and respect for the time and silence of the house.
