Hotels Tordesillas
The Castilla Highway A-62 going from Burgos to Fuentes de Oñoro (Salamanca) to the border with Portugal, and also the Noroeste Highway A-6 that connects Madrid to La Coruña, both bypass Tordesillas.
The N-601 national road and the VA-515 and VA-405 local roads meet at Tordesillas.
For these reasons Tordesillas is a connecting point that leads to Galicia, heading towards the North, and Madrid, heading towards the South, and passes by Valladolid, Palencia, Burgos and Salamanca.
Thousands of travellers pass by Tordesillas, this important communication centre of Castilla y León, and many of them look for accommodation, a hotel or a room to stay overnight.
Beautiful Alamedas, in Castronuño (Valladolid), 39 kms to Tordesillas, 10 kms to Alaejos, and 17 kms to Pollos, offers five beautiful rooms. Pollos and Alaejos, both villages, lead to Castilla Highway A-6 towards Valladolid or Salamanca.
Travellers making a long trip have the possibility to take one of these two diversions (Pollos or Alaejos) to avoid the discomforts of the city traffic and drive to Castronuño.
Castronuño is in the idyllic "Riberas de Castronuño-Vega del Duero" wildlife reserve, which is a small oasis that may be inspiring to rest in the middle of the journey.
The five rooms that Beautiful Alamedas offers are warm and spotless cleaned with organic products.
Beautiful Alamedas has five rooms: an orange one, a blue one, an ochre one, a rose one, and one loft. All of them have an ensuite bathroom and are decorated with a cozy Provenzal style. The five rooms are provided with heating, air conditioning, and organic hand soap and shower gel.
Common areas follow the same decoration style and lead to a beautiful Andalusian garden with fountains and luxuriant vegetation of olive, lemon, orange trees, bojs and others.
Beautiful Alamedas is provided with a small organic patisserie, located five minutes on foot, where muffins, almond cookies, cakes, cheesecakes and others are made. The patisserie and the organic shop are also into another small Andalusian garden that can be visited too.
Travellers can go to the patisserie and buy these organic and artisanal muffins, cookies and cakes with a coffee or, either, they can ask to be delivered to Beautiful Alamedas. Although they are just made, they are put into eco-packaging.
Beautiful Alamedas also offers prepared meals, which are cooked into the same small sustainable kitchen and they are delivered into the eco-packaging too. They are made with organic ingredients, and some of them are picked up directly from an organic farm two kilometres from Beautiful Alamedas.
These meals, though they are prepared and served into biodegradable boxes, are made at the time with fresh products just picked up.
They are basic meals, but tasty, nutritious and healthy, and they leave one satisfied. Varied salads, Spanish tortilla, canapes, pasta, and others.
Castronuño is at the top of a small hill from which Toro is seen. The "Senda de los Almendros" goes along the river flanked by reed, poplars, centenary trees, and it is a magical journey that invites for disconnection.
Castronuño has a restaurant, two bars, an artisanal cheese factory, a modern patisserie, and a winery that elaborates original wines that can be visited too.
For all these reasons, Beautiful Alamedas is a perfect destination to take a break along the way, reconnect, and move forward.
