ALMOND TREES IN BLOOM 2011
Today is March, the 20th and it is a beautiful day. The weather looks like summertime at three in the afternoon; sun is shining and the blue sky is very intense.
Because of recent rains, lands have turned green again and almond trees, in bloom, show a landscape almost snowed.
Going down by the "Senda de los Almendros" route, the little valley today shows all its charm.
I have taken these pictures in which the stork colony on the other shore can be seen, and, one of them, in full flight. They could be heard this morning :-)
There are some visitors in Castronuño today walking by "La Senda de los Almendros" route, which begins at "La Muela" park.
I have gone up the stairs to reach the "Casa del Parque, which is the center for documentation.
I have taken this picture of the little garden of this inner patio which I love so much and it always seems to me so cute and calid.
On your way back, you can taste the delicious hand made cheeses.
