I shot these pictures the last day and at the sunset so, you can see sun rays are already disappearing, and kids take advantage of water slides to the last minute.
These pictures show the smaller water slides for kids. I remember Patrick, a beautiful 4 year old kid, who was waiting for his father the whole afternoon to go down the water slide and be launched by his father courage. In the meantime I was taking care of him and his siblings, 6 and 8 years old, these ones were going down and he looked at me excited and doubtful. At the end, Dominique, the oldest, launched himself going down the biggest water slide. That evening, he made a good deed, and he felt very proud of himself
.
These pools, although they are at the Wildlife Reserve, are private. It is one kilometre and a half of distance from Castronuño, and you can get them on foot from the village by the "La Senda de los Almendros", but I recommend you to take the car because, on your way back home, you will be tired.
They are provided with a largest pool, which is split into two pieces by the fountain that you can see at the right. The smallest piece is for kids and water goes at the height of knees.
There are shadowed areas with grass and poplars, and two coffee shops; one of them is provided with a covered terrace.
These pictures show the largest water slide.
It was already nine p.m. and shadows had covered this area, but still were there those who wanted to take advantage to the last minute launching and going down again and again.
I hope that you have enjoyed and that, after a day at the pool, you will get the house starving to have some fresh tomatoes grown on the organic farm; or you may prefer going to Toro (only 14 kms in the opposite direction) for a delicious milkshakes that "The Ideal" pastry shop run by the chef of "La Malvasía" restaurant has opened last week.

COME AND HAVE A FRESH SUMMER!!
